NAUTILUS BLUES

$0.00

2024

Recycled EPS, Fiberglass, Resin, Pigment, Hi Gloss

48” x 48” x 3”

Words from the artist:

This piece is straightforward. It’s beautiful and reminiscent of what the Panel’s series was inspired by: big bold colors presented in a way that makes you feel like you’re somewhere or looking at something. Some might think it’s a seascape, others will liken the colors to the hauls of yachts that you might find in the Northeast. You’re all right. The finish is spotless and the colors work well on the platform. I really like how this feels in the space and I’m glad to add this piece to the collection- which is now quite impressive.

I always love tracking the works and the journeys they go through to get home. I have moved artworks by nearly every conceivable means of transport, but I can honestly say via ferry is a new one!

This piece is classic, and something people have always kind of joked about, and I respect it so much! Sometimes when things don’t exactly fit - you gotta do what you gonna do!
