This effort is the maquette and first “sketch” for a larger piece and body of work planned for an upcoming series “In The Words of My Father”. This piece in particular is meant use materials typical to my practice in order to draw in the viewer and evoke reflection in more ways than the obvious. I couldn’t be have been happier to show this for the first time during the 2021 Laguna Art Museum’s California Cool Auction. I am delighted to have participated as support my local museum.
